So,I finally made up my mind to pre-order Harry Potter's final book.Was in a dilemma before this,thought of trying my luck out in Kinokuniya and see if I can be the first lucky 12 readers to get the book for free.But that would mean getting up as early as 4a.m. on 21st July and rushing with the crowd at KLCC's entrance to wait for Kinokuniya to open.Oh ya,& I have to keep track on Star Mag every Sunday to get the hints to the passwords,which will be asked by a particular fake Fat Lady potrait in Kino on that day.*swt*Ok,I'm perfectly certain I made the right decision now.Honestly,for all the past 6 books,I've never thought of going for the free copies(Kinokuniya gives out 3 or 4 free copies every time) just because...I don't think I'd ever be that lucky?Plus,according to the newspapers,these people(who got the free books) actually starts lining up at approximately 4a.m. in the morning O_o.4.a.m....I don't remember ever waking up THAT EARLY in my entire life.I do remember sleeping that LATE though.Haha.I wouldn't have gave a second thought this time too,if it wasn't for my dumb sis.She kept persuading me to go,saying things like "Its the last book already,& u've never tried being part of the frenzy before.Don't u think its a bit of a waste?I mean,u might never get chances like these anymore."Aargh~Great.& that really got me thinking.For many days.
But finally,I've made up my mind to just buy it.I mean,I know its expensive but I can still afford it.*sniff sniff*With my translation salary.Well at least I'm free from risks like not being able to buy the book(I heard there might not be enough stock if you don't pre-order) or end up buying it at a more expensive price,afterall,now I'm buying at Popular,there's a 10% discount for Popular card members.So..oh what the heck,its the last book afterall.Although the fact that these people only publish the paperback version(which costs a hell more cheaper!!) a year after,leaving you no choice but to buy the extremely expensive hardback version(unless u want to be the last one to read the book & wait for everyone to tell you the endings) REALLY BUGS ME.Oh whatever.Again,its the last book afterall.Can't wait to get my hands on my book.
But before that,let's just quench our thirsts on the 5th HP movie first.Honestly,the Order of the Phoenix has always been my most most favourite one among all the 6 books(though I really hate the fact that Sirius died).& its also the thickest!So let's see how these filmakers are going to show their compressing skills and squeeze the entire book into a 3 hrs film again.The 4th movie was really fast.As in the story was moving in a really fast pace,until some parts were just hastily explained.Coz there was just not enough time.Sigh~I guess the 5th movie will be even worse.Still,I'll go watch it.Just to satisfy my visual desire for the book.Keke~Premiers on 11th July dudes.
